Sigma Nursing Organization

Sigma is nursing's only honor society.  Theta Delta is the Sigma chapter at Auburn University School of Nursing. Sigma is the second largest nursing organization in the world. It is a nationally recognized honor society with international chapters as well. 

Students are invited to join after completing three semesters in the professional nursing program.  To be eligible for induction, undergraduate students must maintain a 3.0 GPA and be in the top 35% of the class and graduate students must maintain a 3.5 GPA.  

Students who are inducted will benefit from access to free CEUs and research journals, and other activities sponsored by the Theta Delta chapter. For more information, visit the Theta Delta website: thetadelta.sigmanursing.org.
