A background check and drug screen are required following admission. Each student is responsible for the costs of all compliance requirements and must meet the requirements by the deadline indicated in the compliance information that will be sent to them after being admitted. AUCON utilizes Advantage Students for background checks and drug screens. Advantage Students is secure, confidential, and HIPAA/FERPA compliant. An Evite will be sent from Advantage Students for graduate students to activate their account and receive instructions for completing the background check and drug screen. Each student is responsible for fees for the background check and drug screen, and payments will be made by graduate students directly to Advantage Students.
