The RN to BSN track prepares nurses with leadership, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice skills to positively impact diverse patients, families, and communities. The program is designed to promote student success by providing concepts that can be directly applied to nursing practice. AUCON provides clinical opportunities for experiential learning in nursing concepts such as community health, interprofessional experiences, and nursing leadership.

The online RN to BSN track is a 3-semester curriculum designed to prepare registered nurses to take the next step in their professional career with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.

Taught by the same nursing faculty who teach on campus, this program offers start dates in fall, spring, or summer and flat-rate tuition that is the same for in-state and out-of-state students.

• Applicants must have a current unencumbered license or a document stating the anticipated date of completion of an ADN/ASN program. *If you reside in a state outside of Alabama, contact AUCON to ensure approved clinical assignments are eligible in your state.
  

• RN-BSN students are eligible to begin the program with two outstanding core requirements which must be completed by the final semester of enrollment in the online program.

• All classes must be completed with a C or better and minimum of 2.5 GPA

• 56 hours of required core classes
