Engaging Active Group Learning Environments in Simulation
Simulation-Based Experiences For Auburn Nursing Students
The mission of Auburn University's College of Nursing is supported by the EAGLES Center, an integral component of the college's educational activities. The EAGLES Center uses innovative technologies and dynamic simulation-based experiences to develop and enhance clinical skills and judgment in its graduates who, in turn, provide safe nursing care to citizens of Alabama and beyond.
Auburn University College of Nursing offers two professional development opportunities designed to strengthen expertise in healthcare simulation education.
Simulation modules provide eight self-paced, online learning experiences that introduce the foundational concepts of simulation-based teaching—ideal for busy nurse educators in academic or clinical settings.
Building on these fundamentals, the Post-Master’s Healthcare Simulation Graduate Certificate is a three-semester program that prepares graduates to lead simulation programs, apply best practice standards, and integrate evidence-based strategies into curriculum and instruction.
