The mission of Auburn University Student Nurses Association (AUSNA) is to foster the professional development of nursing students who are prepared to lead the profession in their future career.
Guest speakers in the nursing profession help to convey the ethics and standards of the nursing profession as well as give insight into various fields within the practice of nursing.
The AUSNA supports the community through health promotion events, such as health screenings, community education efforts, and fundraisers. AUSNA hosts activities throughout the school year for students and faculty to help foster relationships, provide encouragement and guidance.
AUSNA sponsors a Mentor-Mentee program as an excellent way to connect with older students, ask questions, prepare for interviews and life as a student nurse.
The association provides opportunities for students to give back to the community, gain leadership experience, and create a connected environment at AUCON.
