Many women experience mental health changes, such as anxiety, during pregnancy and in the year after birth. Anxiety disorders develop from a complex set of factors and are common in the context of chronic conditions. Mrs. Jones’ research focuses on identifying which women, under what circumstances, are at greater risk of progressing from anxiety symptom experience to clinically significant anxiety disorder. This understanding of symptom progression and associated factors will help identify modifiable targets to inform interventions that support the well-being of this population.
