Research and Scholarship

Faculty Research

At Auburn University’s College of Nursing, faculty and scholars engage in innovative, transformative research that seeks to improve health outcomes, reduce disparities, and inform nursing practice and health-care delivery.

Anchored in the state’s critical health-care challenges, the college fosters collaborative, community-engaged inquiry—with particular emphasis on older adults, racial and ethnic minority populations, chronic illness, emerging technologies, and systems-level interventions.

With a growing roster of doctorally prepared faculty and interdisciplinary partnerships, the College advances a research agenda rooted in evidence, equity, and real-world impact.

Zora Neale Hurston

Research is formalized curiosity. It is poking and prying with a purpose.
