AUCON celebrates FNP students at White Coat ceremony

Twenty-six students from AUCON’s Family Nurse Practitioner program celebrated an important milestone Thursday, May 28, in their journey to becoming Nurse Practitioners -- they received their white clinical coats, embroidered with the Auburn Nursing logo.

The Nurse Practitioner White Coat Ceremony is a rite of passage marking the transition from classroom coursework to clinical, hands-on patient care. This cohort will now begin the clinical phase of their curriculum and are on track to graduate from the program in Spring 2027.

The ceremony and reception that followed provided an opportunity for each student to be individually recognized and to celebrate their achievements with family and friends who have supported them along the way.
