Dr. Chineda Hill receives AUCON's 2026 Black Alumni Award

Congratulations to Dr. Chineda Hill ’04, who recently received AUCON’s 2026 Black Alumni Award. Given annually by the Auburn Alumni Association, the Black Alumni Awards recognize a recipient from each of Auburn’s 12 colleges for outstanding achievements in their professional lives, personal integrity, and stature and service to the university.

Dr. Hill is a professor of nursing and course coordinator for Foundations of Nursing Practice II at the University of West Alabama, where she has taught since 2012. A certified clinical nurse leader, Dr. Hill was a medical-surgical nurse from 1995 to 2010 before becoming an education coordinator at DCH Health Systems.

We are so proud of Dr. Hill and the work she has done at the beside as well as in the classroom inspiring and encouraging future nurses.
